Writing news
Last weekend, I took part in the Indie Author Spring Spectacular, hosted by Hayley of Indie Visible Events. Two of my books, They Lie Here and After the Burning, were available to download for free. It was the first time They Lie Here was free and it got to a respectable no.3 in Conspiracy Thrillers, while After the Burning reached no.1 in Science Fiction Anthologies, no.3 in Single Authors Short Stories and no.3 in Dystopian Science Fiction. I was pleased there was so much interest in them and hopefully the large number of downloads will generate some reviews!
Blog news
Things are ticking over as usual on the blog and I’m scheduling a post for every 2 or 3 days. I’ve read a few short books lately, which helps to increase the number of book reviews. I would quite like to do a revamp of the blog’s appearance at some point, as I last changed it 3 years ago for the publication of We Watch You. Perhaps I’ll do this for my next novel - as yet unwritten!
