A year full of books!
I have towering stacks of books to read at the moment, from the library, NetGalley, Kindle Unlimited and my paperback shelves... I'll never run out of reading material!
Writing news
I was very happy to have a 5 star review for They Lie Here from Clive at Whispering Stories, which is a multi-reviewer, multi-genre platform. He called the book ‘a well-crafted and entertaining read’ and interestingly thought that the town of Waelminster was York (which it partly is). I have also begun the very early stages of planning my next work… with pen and paper. When I have concrete news on it, you’ll be the first to know!
Blog news
My most viewed post this year, yet again, is about the 5 themes of Roald Dahl. This might be because it’s a ‘Google snippet’ (shown at the top of the search results) or possibly it’s being linked to from somewhere else. Second most popular is ‘Battle of the classics!’ and in third place is ‘Outdated cultural depictions’. On one hand, I don’t get as many comments on my blog as I used to, but on the other, my views are much increased.
