Feeling optimistic!
I think this will be a great year for my reading and writing. The world seems crazier than ever but at least it's giving me lots of inspiration...
Writing news
I had a 99p Kindle sale for They Lie Here in early January. I sold a few copies, which maybe doesn’t sound like much, but I appreciate every sale and I really hope that every reader enjoys the book. If you’ve read the book but not reviewed it yet, please do leave a review, however short, on Amazon or Goodreads. This is super-important for indie authors in particular (like me) who do not have the power of a big publisher’s marketing department behind them. In other writing news, I have made a start on my next project. Watch this space to be the first to know about it!
Blog news
There has been a sudden great leap of blog followers, which does happen occasionally. Maybe I’ll even reach 4000 by the end of this year. If you’re someone who has recently discovered the blog and therefore this newsletter, welcome! This is a personal newsletter about my reading and writing. I also run The Indie Books & Authors Newsletter, which promotes and celebrates the amazing work of indie authors.

Full Circle, the obscure soundtrack album by Colin Towns for the 1977 film of the same name (aka The Haunting of Julia). I haven’t seen it but I really like the music.
That’s all for now. Thanks for reading - see you next time!
