Free book alert!
All three of my books are part of an epic indie author sale for the next 4 days - the thrillers are a bargain and the dystopian stories are free!
Writing news
As I write this on Friday evening, After the Burning is now at #15 in the free Dystopian Science Fiction (Kindle) bestsellers rank… ahead of George Orwell’s 1984! It has also reached #21 in free Single Authors Short Stories. I encourage you to download the book, if you don’t already have a copy, and share the link with your bookworm friends so they can download it too. It would be amazing to reach #1 in one of the rankings.
We Watch You and They Lie Here are currently on sale for 99p / 99c - I rarely reduce the prices on these novels, so now is the time to add them to your Kindle shelf! You can find links to my books and those of all the others in the sale here on the Indie Author Summer Extravaganza spreadsheet.
Blog news
I have consistently had 2,000 views per month for a while now. Interestingly, most of my views are via search engines although occasionally I’ll get a flurry from Twitter. I’ve lost count of the number of times people have said Twitter is imploding but at the moment it’s still where I have the most engagement. As I have been so busy lately (with non-writing related things, sadly) I have almost caught up with the blank spaces on the spreadsheet I use for planning blog posts. I will always find something to post about, never fear.

I had a few ‘time-travelling bookworm’ adventures in the early years of my blog, beginning with this trip to November 2001.

Thanks A Lot, Mr Kibblewhite by Roger Daltrey, a very entertaining autobiography which has plenty of rock’n’roll anecdotes.

I am still making my way through a variety of British sitcoms and dramas. I haven’t found enough time to watch a film recently.

Showbiz, the first album from Muse, before they became one of the biggest rock bands in the world. I must have listened to it hundreds of times over the years.
That’s all for now. Thanks for reading - see you next time!
